June PiHackathon

As part of an ongoing Pi Network initiative that is designed to facilitate year-round Pi ecosystem development efforts and provide regularly accessible opportunities for developers, we are thrilled to announce the winner of the June #PiHackathon!

And the winner is…

Congratulations to TanTan for Pi for their outstanding work in building a complete and sophisticated social app that contributes to the Pi Network ecosystem. They have impressed us with their social app that provides a number of different functionalities to Pioneers, including creating online communities, posting multi-media content, interacting with others, and following individuals and topics of interest. What stood out about TanTan is that they have continued to build and improve their submission from past hackathons. Notably, they have improved the Pi integration and have added a subscription for VIP access to the app that is in line with utility creation.

This achievement is a testament to their hard work and creative ideas. In addition to this well-deserved recognition, TanTan will receive a prize of 10,000 Pi* to help support their app’s development efforts. We’re excited to see what they will accomplish in the future!

Curious to see what the team behind TanTan has created? You can find their Testnet app on the Ecosystem within the Pi Browser. Give it a try yourself and experience what this talented team has built.

More to come

The excitement doesn’t end there! You still have a chance to join the fun and showcase your skills for the August #PiHackathon — remember to submit your entries by the August 31 submission deadline, and stay tuned for the announcement of the July winner in the coming weeks.

Visit the #PiHackathon page to learn how to get started and be a part of the Pi Network’s vibrant developer community.
