Pi Network is introducing Pi Ecosystem Summit, a three-day online event taking place November 17–19, 2026, focused on Pi’s developer platform, ecosystem building, and utility creation. The Summit will feature new platform and feature announcements, developer tool demos, partner and community app showcases, conversations with developers, and details on an upcoming all-new hackathon.

By highlighting both what developers have already built and can create, as well as the tools available to develop and grow on Pi Network, the Summit aims to encourage more builders to develop on Pi, while giving Pioneers an opportunity to discover more applications and utilities across the ecosystem.

The summit will include:

  • Platform releases and developer updates: Announcements of new Pi platform features, capabilities, and resources available to developers.
  • Developer demos: Practical demonstrations of how developers can use specific Pi tools to build applications and tap into Pi’s collective resources.
  • App showcases: Examples of applications built by companies and community developers, highlighting how they use Pi and the experiences they offer users.
  • Developer conversations: Discussions among developers and Pi Core Team on what developers are interested in building on Pi, how Pi platform and community support their work, how their applications contribute to Pi’s utility, and potential directions of the platform.
  • New hackathon: Introduction of an upcoming Pi hackathon offering developers a new opportunity to build applications on Pi, with further details to be shared during the Summit.

While Pi Day and Pi2Day celebrate progress across the broader Pioneer community and entire network, Pi Ecosystem Summit places a dedicated focus on developers, the tools supporting their work, and the applications they build to serve Pioneers and expand Pi’s utility.

Building on Pi

As AI lowers the barrier to building software, reaching users and gaining distribution are becoming increasingly important challenges for developers. Pi offers an existing distribution network and utility ecosystem where developers can connect their applications with more than 60 million Engaged Pioneers, alongside infrastructure for app discovery, user authentication, Pi payments, and other capabilities. The ecosystem also includes over 300 Mainnet apps, a network of more than 420,000 Nodes, and over 18.1 million fully KYC’d users.

Pi has continued expanding its developer tools and resources throughout 2026. Recent updates include support for bringing externally created AI apps into the Pi ecosystem through Pi App Studio, the release and improvements of the SoloHost platform which allows developers to release self-hosted AI apps, new SDK functionality, and improved developer documentation. These releases help reduce practical barriers to building on Pi, while the Ecosystem Summit will introduce additional capabilities and demonstrate how developers can use them to create applications and utilities for the ecosystem.

Save the Dates!
