PiFest is back! After Open Network’s launch, Pi is building upon the incredible success of the last PiFest in 2024, which saw unprecedented engagement in local Pi commerce worldwide. With over 55,000 sellers, including 27,000 active sellers across 160+ countries, and 950,000+ Pioneers participating over a few days in PiFest 2024, past PiFests in the Enclosed Period already proved that Pi’s utility in local commerce was not just an idea but a thriving reality!

Now, with Open Network’s external connectivity enabled, PiFest continues to boost Pi-integrated commerce, providing even greater opportunities for merchant adoption, Pioneer engagement, and seamless transactions on the Pi Mainnet blockchain and related Pi products.

Whether you’re a merchant looking to reach new customers or a Pioneer eager to explore the expanding world of Pi-powered shopping, PiFest is your chance to take part!

Merchant Registration & Event Timeline

  • Merchant Registration Opens: Wednesday, March 12, 2025
  • PiFest Begins: Pi Day, March 14, 2025
  • PiFest Ends: Friday, March 21, 2025

Merchants can register their businesses on Map of Pi, the Pi Commerce Hackathon-winning app built by community developers that allows Pioneers to discover and connect with local Pi-powered businesses.

During PiFest, all members of the Pi Network community can participate by shopping with Pi, engaging with local businesses, and sharing their experiences on Fireside Forum and social media.

How PiFest Works

Discover, Shop, and Share:

From small businesses to large service providers, PiFest continues to bring communities together, empowering Pioneers to engage with genuine Pi commerce and help explore the utility in the community.

Merchants can list their businesses on Map of Pi, making them discoverable by Pioneers who can explore local Pi-powered businesses, search by category or location, and leave reviews. Transactions happen in-store, where merchants can easily display their Pi Wallet QR code, and Pioneers securely pay with Pi on the Pi Mainnet blockchain.

PiFest utilizes Pi’s complete ecosystem for local commerce integration, including payments via Pi Wallet, transactions on the Pi Mainnet blockchain, and social sharing on Fireside Forum—all seamlessly working across different existing Pi applications. These tools and integrated experience enable Pioneers and merchants to engage in Pi-powered transactions through Pi’s thriving ecosystem.

To celebrate, participants are encouraged to share their experiences on Fireside Forum (#PiFest) and social media using #PiFest—with standout Fireside Forum posts potentially featured on Pi’s official channels.
