This holiday season, Pi Network is highlighting the commerce-related apps and local Pi merchants that power Pi commerce!
During this time of year, large retailers often offer deals, discounts, and holiday-shopping incentives. Pi apps and merchants now have the platform to do the same, and Pioneers are invited to shop with Pi, both online and in-person.
This initiative supports small businesses, local Pi merchants, and Mainnet commerce apps, while giving the community an easy way to discover and participate in holiday shopping across the ecosystem. Pi Network facilitates visibility and coordination, while individual apps and merchants can run their own independent promotions or deals.
To support this initiative and celebrate the holidays with Pioneers, Pi is hosting a raffle for merchandise (t-shirts and hats) with the Pi logo. Read on to learn how to participate in both the commerce initiative and holiday raffle!
How app developers and merchants can participate
- Create and manage your own holiday promotions, deals, or fun activations to attract Pi shoppers;
- Post about your participation and deals in the PiFest Fireside Forum channel to advertise your business and enter in the raffle (details below); and
- Handle sales, delivery, and fulfillment directly with users
How Pioneers can participate
- Browse the ecosystem directory and Fireside Forum to find participating Pi apps and merchants;
- Shop at local Pi-accepting merchants or through Mainnet commerce apps;
- Take advantage of holiday deals created by merchants and app developers;
- Share shopping or gift-giving experiences in the PiFest Fireside Forum channel, and enter the raffle (details below).
Community raffle
Participate for your chance to win exclusive Pi merch! Each valid post in the PiFest Fireside Forum channel, including from Pioneer shoppers and participating Pi app developers and local Pi merchants, is automatically entered into a raffle. A total of 100 winners will be randomly selected to receive Pi-branded items such as t-shirts and hats! Note that the Pi merchandise fulfillment will be facilitated through a third-party, so raffle winners will be limited to the geographic availability of this site, which includes over 220 countries and regions.
