Develop Web3 & Blockchain Apps for 35+ MILLION Pioneers

GET STARTED

We can’t wait to build together.

Pi Network is a social cryptocurrency and Web3 developer platform with over 35 million engaged users. We are the world’s most widely distributed cryptocurrency, and are disrupting the blockchain industry with our uniquely accessible and developer-friendly platform. Developed by a team of Stanford PhDs, Pi can be easily mined on mobile phones with low financial cost, limited battery drain, and a light environmental footprint.

In the spirit of leaving a light environmental footprint, we are offering our cryptocurrency—Pi tokens—instead of physical swag. Hackers can race to claim Pi by taking a few technical challenges that will also help prepare you for the hackathon this weekend. Follow the steps below to get started!

Program on Pi

As blockchain tech ushers in the next wave of technological advancements, hackers and innovators are creating the utilities and innovations designed to transform the space. To create that blueprint for digital citizenship, a team of Stanford PhD’s founded Pi Network,  a social cryptocurrency and developer platform designed to address the accessibility and distribution challenges in the blockchain industry.

Join us and develop your app on Pi Network’s easy-to-use platform, and have the opportunity to plug in to our community of over 35 million engaged users. Successful hackers will have the chance to put their work to the test with real-life users, gather feedback, and iterate to create high-level projects they can share with the world.
